Can you hold a place before I apply?
Metes and Bounds Realty only places a property pending once we have an approved application on the property. -
Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
Metes and Bounds Realty requires the first month's rent and the security deposit at the time of the move in. -
How old do you have to be to apply?

Is the deposit refundable?
The security deposit is refundable based upon property condition. This condition is in relation to what is considered "normal wear and tear". For more information please read this article from the National Association of Realtors. -
Who needs a cosigner?
An applicant would typically need a cosigner if the applicant alone would fail to meet our rental requirements. The cosigner will need to be aware that they will also be financially responsible if the applicant were to miss a payment. -

How do I pay rent?
Tenants can pay rent through our online portal, certified funds, or money orders. Our online portal can be reached at this link. (Please link) -
I want to get a pet. What do I do?
Metes and Bounds Realty will need to obtain owner permission before the pet is allowed into the property. Please notify us as soon as possible before obtaining the pet. -
My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
Metes and Bounds Realty will send a reminder at least 60 days before your lease expiration for any changes pertaining to the lease. The tenant will have until 30 days before lease expiration to confirm or deny these changes. -
Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
The tenant is required to pay for any tenant-related damage including clogs, holes in dry-wall, pests, etc. The owner is required to pay for everything else.
